The perfect balance of rich chocolate and nutty goodness

This vegan gluten-free Brazil nut and banana brownie recipe already hits all the marks. However, if you want to switch things up or are missing some of the ingredients, here are a few substitutes and variations to consider:

– Flour: If you don’t have gluten-free flour on hand, oat flour is an excellent substitute. It is high in fiber and adds a delightful nutty flavor to the brownies.

– Sugar: You can substitute sugar with maple syrup or honey for a natural sweetener. If using liquid sweeteners, reduce the amount of water used in the recipe.

– Vegetable oil: Any neutral-flavored oil such as coconut or canola oil can be used instead of vegetable oil.

– Cocoa powder: If you prefer a more intense chocolate flavor, you can switch dark cocoa powder for regular cocoa powder.

– Toppings: Want to take your chocolate game up a notch? Add walnuts, Brazil nuts, caramelized Brazil nuts or chocolate chips to give a crunchy twist to your treat.

– Banana nice cream: Instead of holding back some mashed ripe bananas to top the brownies with as recommended in the serving and pairing section, you can blend some frozen bananas with peanut butter for an easy make-ahead banana “nice cream” topping.

Don’t be afraid to experiment and create new versions of this delicious brownie. Whether you decide to add nuts or use honey instead of sugar, these vegan gluten-free Brazil nut and banana brownies are guaranteed to please even without any substitutions at all!

Tips for Perfect Results

Irresistible chocolaty goodness in every bite
Irresistible chocolaty goodness in every bite

A mouth-watering, scrumptious and healthy dessert is everyone’s dream, but what’s the secret behind making a perfect brownie? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with some tips on how to master this vegan gluten-free Brazil nut and banana brownie recipe.

1. Use ripe bananas

Ripe bananas are the key ingredient to making naturally sweet desserts. The more ripe the banana is, the sweeter it will be. This recipe requires two ripe bananas, which should be mashed into a smooth paste. This will give your brownies a natural sweetness and soft texture.

2. Mix your dry and wet ingredients separately

Before combining your dry and wet ingredients, mix them in separate bowls. This allows for better consistency and avoid lumps. Once they are well mixed, slowly pour one bowl into the other while stirring gently.

3. Watch your baking time

Oven temperatures vary, so keep an eye on your brownies while they bake. Over-baking them can result in dryness, while under-baking can make them too gooey. To check if they’re ready, insert a toothpick in the center of the brownie; if it comes out clean, they are done!

4. Top it off with nuts or chocolate

Adding walnuts or brazil nuts on top of your brownies before baking adds an extra crunch to every bite of your vegan gluten-free Brazil nut and banana brownie recipe. If you want something sweeter, drizzle melted dark chocolate over them after baking.

5. Chill before serving

After cooling at room temperature for 15 minutes, chill your brownies in the fridge for up to an hour before serving. This will allow them to set completely and make them easier to cut without falling apart.

Follow these tips for perfect results that will impress everyone!
