Kitchen on Cary is a welcome addition to Richmond’s vibrant local restaurant scene.

Restaurant lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch menus change seasonally to focus on fresh, locally sourced and regional cuisine.

Located in Shockoe Slip in the heart of downtown Richmond, the restaurant is close to businesses, local attractions, and within walking distance from many downtown area hotels. Our friendly staff and professional chefs seek to provide guests with a dining experience you’ll want to repeat again and again.

Kitchen on Cary supports Culinard, the Culinary Institute of Virginia College, where our staff of professional chefs provides a learning lab and teaching establishment for culinary and pastry arts students from Culinard.

Our Farm to Table philosophy is based on four key areas: Fresh, regional, seasonal and sustainable.
Focusing on our Farm to Table philosophy, we seek to provide a high quality and affordable dining experience for our guests. Whenever possible we work with local purveyors and growers to get the finest fresh, regional and seasonal ingredients produced through sustainable methods for our menus. We cultivate and cook them to place seasonality at the fore, providing fresh, modern food that delights the palate.
